Kind of - we were doing a "trial run" with the other dog, which we kept for 5 days, but he was just so big and over-the-top with energy, we felt that we needed something a little smaller and less wild.
Anyway, this one is likely to stay, as he is 60 pounds lighter, and a whole lot more independent. He is feeling a little homesick for the shelter tonight, though, so seems sad. I am letting him sleep in my room - but not on my bed.
